Q&A with Richard Tofel, former president of ProPublica and current principal of Gallatin Advisory, exploring the recent evolution of the media landscape in the face of technological, economic and political pressures. Followed by group discussion.

Tech Policy Lecture x Debate Workshop
Lecture by Matt Hawes of ex/ante exploring the capacity for technology to either enable mass surveillance or promote individual agency and privacy. Followed by a workshop designed to elevate the rigor and integrity of debates through Tusk & Quill’s ‘license to argue’ method.
