This interview, conducted in mid December 2024, features Ben Hunt in conversation with our Content Director, Nimayi Dixit. Ben is the co-founder of Epsilon Theory, a media project exploring finance, politics, and culture through the lens of narrative. 

Ben and his co-founder Rusty Guinn have devoted themselves to better understanding how social narratives drive mass behavior. They've developed various concepts to help people get a better handle on broad social trends as well as how they may be vulnerable to social manipulation themselves. 

Recently, Ben has been pondering how the explosion in computer intelligence, via accelerating advancements in large language models, will influence how our societies create and handle narratives. That’s what we focused on in this discussion, which we are planning to expand into a Part II soon.
